Trader Joe’s Sriracha Salmon Bowl Recipe
Serves 2
What You Need From Trader Joe’s:
1 Packet Microwaveable Jasmine Rice
8-10 oz salmon, washed and pat-dried
1/2 packet coleslaw kit
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp Sriracha
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
Optional: dash of cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix together the Sriracha, garlic powder and 2 tbsp of the honey. Pour on top of salmon and make sure salmon is completely coated in the sauce.
Place salmon in the air-fryer for about 8 minutes or until golden lightly crispy and fully cooked through. (If you do not have an air-fryer, you can also broil in the salmon on high in the oven for about 15 minutes).
While salmon is cooking, microwave rice according to package directions.
Place the coleslaw in a bowl (you can discard the dressing packet that the coleslaw comes with or save it for another use). Top coleslaw with the remaining 1 tbsp honey, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt & pepper to taste, and a dash of cayenne pepper if desired. Mix well.
Place rice in a bowl and top with slaw mix and salmon. Enjoy!
