These Beef Lo Mein-Style Noodles are the kind of weeknight dinner that saves you when you’re this close to ordering takeout. It comes together quickly, uses simple ingredients, and totally scratches that saucy, savory noodle craving but in a way that feels a little more balanced and homemade.
It’s also one of my favorite “clean out the fridge” meals. Have random veggies hanging out in the frdige? Toss them in. Swap the flank steak for chicken, shrimp, tofu, or whatever protein you have on hand. Use rice noodles, lo mein, spaghetti… truly anything works. The sauce pulls everything together, so you really can’t mess it up.
