Mix together all the chicken ingredients and let sit for 5-10 minutes. While marinating, mix together the sauce ingredients and set to the side.
Cook rice according to package directions.
Heat half of the olive oil in a pan. Once hot, add the broccoli and saute 5-7 minutes until tender.
Heat remaining olive oil in a separate pan on medium/low heat. Once warm, add the white part of the green onion and the chicken. Cook the chicken a few minutes each side until lightly browned.
Add the sauce to the pan with the chicken and cook a few minutes until sauce is thickened and chicken is cooked through.
